The TA-HY-1600-42 hydraulic M42 tapping machine with a T slotted table

The TA-HY-1600-42 tapping machine is capable of tapping between M12 and M42 threads within a 1600mm work area...

The machine taps are held in a quick change collet system driven by a Hydraulic motor. The motor is mounted on a articulated arm which maintains parallel motion. The smooth arm action allows the tap to be brought into position swiftly and easily.

The tap collets have a ratchet clutch, the torque is preset for each tap size. If the tap encounters an obstruction the clutch will prevent the tap from turning. Through hole and blind holes can be tapped.

With the increase in speed over hand tapping and removing tapping operations from manual and cnc machinery, our tapping arm will prove to be an affordable alternative.

The arm is supplied with a heavy duty machined 'T' slotted table to aid clamping of the work piece. The hydraulic pump and tank are housed inside the cabinet.
